Announcing the first annual Photographic Calendar Contest for 2010

RULES OF CONTEST:

1. Contest is open to amateur photographers only, regardless of age
2. Photos are to be of people, places or things in Cumberland Valley Township
3. Photos must be single, unaltered images produced by the entrant
4. Prints only – black and white and color photos will be judged together
5. Permission must be obtained, in writing, if photo is of a person or a recognizable home or building
6. There is no entry fee
7. Photographers name, address and telephone number must appear on the back of each entry
8. Sizes accepted up to 5 x 7
9. Entry form must accompany each photograph, entry forms may be photocopied

SUBMITTING ENTRIES:

Photos may be submitted at any meeting of the Cumberland Valley Township Historical Society, held the 3rd Tuesday, 7 pm, each month at the old elementary school in Centerville, Room 5.

Photos may also be mailed in photo safe mailers to:

IMPORTANT DATES:

Photos must be submitted by September 15, 2009.

Winners will be announced at the October 20, 2009 CVTHS meeting.

Calendars will be available for purchase starting in December 2009, just in time for Christmas. Orders will be taken, but not necessary. Calendars will be available for purchase at locations to be announced.
